Arsenal reached another major milestone when they demolished Atletico Madrid 4:0 in the UEFA Champions League match at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.
Goals from Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli and a brace from Viktor Gyokeres helped Arsenal make history in their 100th European all-time appearance
Arsenal put through a very attacking and impressive second half show to give the visitors the shock of their life with four quick goals in less than 8 minutes.
Arsenal’s defensive midfielder Martin Zubimendi joined the history cards of the match when he got booked again after a wreckless tackle in the second half.

The yellow card, Zubimendi’s third in a row means the player will not travel with Mikel Arteta’s squad in the first quarter of next month when they will visit Czech Republic giants Slavia Prague for their next Champions League game.
The 26-year-old was booked for the third consecutive match, meaning he’ll miss Arsenal’s next European game.

Gabriel Magalhaes opened the scoring with a sublime header in the 57th minute, before Gabriel Martinelli doubled Arsenal’s advantage with a perfect finish in the 64th minute. Viktor Gyokeres then scored a brace in the 67th and 69th minutes, handing Mikel Arteta’s side a convincing win.
The victory maintains Arsenal’s perfect start to the Champions League campaign, with wins over Athletic Bilbao and Olympiacos preceding the Atletico Madrid triumph.

The Gunners have now won 11 straight Champions League home games without conceding a goal, and confidence is high after a controlled Premier League win over Fulham at the weekend.
Atletico Madrid, meanwhile, struggled with their away record, failing to secure a victory on the road this season.
Diego Simeone’s team will look to bounce back from the defeat, having previously thrashed Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 in Europe.
Arsenal’s next fixtures include matches against Slavia Prague and Bayern Munich on November 4 and 26, respectively
