Inside Arsenal extra-time: The best in the business

Evening everyone. Well, that was a lot of fun last night wasn’t it?

As Champions League nights go, it just doesn’t get much better. Four goals, a clean sheet and three more lovely points safely tucked away as Mikel Arteta’s in-form side cruised past Atletico Madrid.

That’s six wins on the spins now in all competitions for Arsenal, who really seem to be hitting their stride after what was a bit of slow start to the season.

Anyway, it’s that time of the week again when I sit down with James Benge of CBS Sports for the latest instalment of Inside Arsenal extra-time.

In this week’s episode we obviously reflect on last night’s events at the Emirates, going over all the big talking points from the game, including two more set piece goals for Arsenal.

We discuss the criticism (jealousy) that seems to be growing from rival fans over Arsenal’s use of the set piece and also debate whether Declan Rice and Gabriel Magalhaes are the best in the business at what they do.

There’s lots of other Arsenal chat as well, including bits and pieces on Eberechi Eze, this weekend’s game against Palace and more.

As always, you can watch this week’s show on the Inside Arsenal YouTube channel, or via all the usual podcast platforms.
