Arsenal fans have been handed some welcome developments regarding two key forwards sidelined by injuries, as reports indicate both Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz are progressing faster than initially anticipated.
According to insights from journalist John Cross in the Mirror, the Gunners’ medical team is optimistic about the Brazilian striker’s recovery. “John Cross reports for the Mirror that despite claims that Gabriel Jesus would be out until 2026, the striker is now targeting a return to full training and potential first-team action by December.”

VThe 28-year-old has shown remarkable resolve, earning praise from the club’s health experts. “Jesus has reportedly impressed Arsenal’s medical staff with his determination to make his comeback, and he’s already been taking part in sessions on the grass. But he hasn’t been involved in full training yet.”

Adding to the positivity, Havertz’s rehabilitation is also advancing steadily. “In a further piece of good news, Cross writes that Kai Havertz is also making good progress in his recovery.” The German international, who has been crucial in midfield and attack this season, could feature prominently soon. “The report adds that Havertz is expected to return in the coming weeks, and he could be starting matches again with a month.”

These timelines suggest Havertz might be back in time for Arsenal’s demanding late-November schedule, including home clashes against Tottenham and Bayern Munich, followed by an away trip to Chelsea. For Jesus, a December return would bolster the squad heading into the winter period.
The news comes amid other updates: captain Martin Odegaard and winger Noni Madueke remain sidelined until after the November international break, potentially aligning their returns with Havertz’s. With these players potentially available before the new year, Mikel Arteta’s side could gain significant depth and firepower for the title race and Champions League push, easing concerns over their attacking options.
