Declan Rice has sent a message to Viktor Gyokeres after Arsenal defeated Atletico Madrid in the Champions League – and it’s one Mikel Arteta will surely be a huge fan of.
Arsenal emerged victorious against Diego Simeone’s side on Tuesday evening, battering the Spaniards 4-0 in what was a memorable night in the Champions League.
Goals from Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli, and two from the big man Viktor Gyokeres ensured Arsenal remained unbeaten in Europe and continued to sail under Mikel Arteta.

Declan Rice sends message to Viktor Gyokeres
The Swede was the star man on the night and took to Instagram to celebrate the victory. He wrote: “Together.”
Comments came flooding in from various Arsenal teammates and fans, but the most poignant of the lot came from Declan Rice, who simply wrote: “Correct.”
Gyokeres also showed love for his teammates in his Tuesday post-match press conference. He said: “My teammates are incredible. I think you can see the spirit in the team. They are amazing.
We have to be on our toes and do the right thing in the games, be the same, and keep improving because there is always room for that.”
Arsenal morale is extremely high at the moment, and that comes from the togetherness within the camp. This is no coincidence, however – it’s exactly what the boss has been working towards.
