Mikel Arteta says Arsenal defender Gabriel is a doubt for this weekend’s game against Crystal Palace.
The Gunners defender picked up an injury problem in the Champions League win over Atletico Madrid and Arteta says he has not been able to train ahead of their upcoming clash.
“Big Gabi had to leave the pitch with an issue and he hasn’t been able to train yet,” Arteta said.
“Let’s see how he trains over the next 24 hours.”
Arteta also confirmed that Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard are not set to return over the next week.
But the Gunners boss did add that all are “progressing well” in their recoveries.
