Kilmarnock haveannounced the signing of former Arsenal striker Tyreece John-Jules on a short-term contract running until January.
The Scottish Premiership side moved quickly to bring in attacking reinforcement following a season-ending injury to forward Djenairo Daniels, who suffered a setback while on international duty with Suriname.
John-Jules, 24, arrives after spending last season with Crawley Town in England’s League Two and previously enjoying loan spells at clubs such as Ipswich Town, Sheffield Wednesday, Doncaster Rovers, and Blackpool.

Before completing his move to Scotland, the striker had been training with Arsenal’s first team at London Colney, working on his fitness and keeping himself ready for potential opportunities.

A product of Arsenal’s famed Hale End academy, John-Jules joined the club at just eight years old and spent 15 years in North London. Though he never made a competitive senior appearance for the Gunners, he was a regular in first-team training and impressed former assistant coach Freddie Ljungberg, who facilitated his first loan move to Lincoln City. He was also part of Mikel Arteta’s matchday squad for the 2020 Community Shield triumph over Liverpool.
Throughout his Arsenal career, John-Jules gained valuable experience on loan across the English Football League, featuring for Derby County and Ipswich Town among others. After leaving Arsenal in 2024, he signed for Cardiff City, where he made 27 appearances across all competitions before being released in the summer.

His return to Arsenal’s training ground came after a standout performance in a PFA-organised friendly against Brighton’s Under-21 side in August, where he found the back of the net. That showing earned him an invitation to rejoin Mehmet Ali’s Under-21 setup, as seen in footage published by Hayters TV.
Tyreece John-Jules also maintains close ties with Arsenal’s new generation, notably summer signing Noni Madueke, whose unveiling he attended earlier this year.
The forward is eligible to make his Kilmarnock debut when they take on Rangers in the Premiership this Sunday, as he looks to reignite his career north of the border.
