Arsenal have received a huge lift ahead of their Premier League clash with Crystal Palace, as key duo Gabriel Magalhaes and Bukayo Saka have both been declared fit to start at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.
Mikel Arteta’s side are aiming to tighten their grip on top spot and extend their winning streak to seven matches. The Gunners were also given an unexpected boost on Saturday after surprise defeats for Liverpool and Chelsea strengthened their position in the title race.
Today’s game also carries special meaning for Eberechi Eze, who faces his former club for the first time since joining Arsenal in a £60 million summer move. The midfielder scored for Palace in last season’s draw at the Emirates and could make headlines again if he nets his first Premier League goal in Arsenal colours.

There had been uncertainty over the availability of Gabriel and Saka after both picked up minor knocks, but the Brazilian defender has been passed fit following an injury scare in training. Saka, who was absent from the club’s recent training photos, also makes the starting XI and will captain the side once again in Martin Odegaard’s continued absence due to a knee problem.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, make the short trip across London looking to recover from a disappointing Conference League loss to AEK Larnaca. Like Arsenal, they have only suffered one league defeat so far this season.
Palace boss Oliver Glasner has no fresh injury issues and names a familiar lineup, with former Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah among the substitutes on his first return to the Emirates since leaving in the summer.

A win for Arsenal would send a strong message to their title rivals, while any slip-up could allow Manchester City to move above them if they beat Aston Villa later today.
