Viktor Gyokeres and Alexander Isak have had two very interesting starts to the season for their respective clubs.
Since joining Liverpool, the 26-year-old has only managed two goal contributions in all competitions after completing his £125 million transfer, which caused a stir among Newcastle United fans for his behaviour during the saga.
While trying to get up to full fitness after having no pre-season, Isak has very much struggled to have his desired impact just yet, and with the star picking up a recent groin injury, it has made his start worse.

Compare that to his Swedish international teammate Gyokeres, and many will say he has settled in much more than his counterpart, as he has scored five goals in all competitions for Arsenal so far.
However, he has also struggled in most Premier League games, much like many of the Reds’ new signings this season.

Viktor Gyokeres apologises to Alexander Isak for ranking him 10th in a top strikers’ list
The pair, though, will settle into their new clubs properly as the season progresses, and for Arne Slot’s side, they will definitely need their investment to pay off.
In terms of some of the best strikers today, Isak should be up there because of what he did for Newcastle, because of his consistency with goals, even if he has not hit the ground running at Liverpool.
He is yet to prove that he is one of the best all-time, of course, because he is only 26, so it is hard to rank him among some of the best to lace up the boots.

It was something that Gyokeres also found difficult when given a mix of strikers from the past and present to rank in a top 10 list.
When it came to his international teammate, the Gunners striker placed him in 10th position, and he immediately apologised for it.
Speaking to the Ballon d’Or TikTok page, Gyokeres said: “Oh my god. I have to put him tenth. Sorry, Alexander, you’re not tenth, but my ranking was not as planned, as you know. I have to put you here for now, but I’ll change it after.”
Of course, many fans would love him to be higher, but some of the names above him include stars like Robert Lewandowski.
While he did not change it in the end, the Arsenal star placed himself in 10th alongside Isak.
Alexander Isak will be one of the best strikers in the world
It has been difficult for Isak to transition to this Liverpool side, considering the fallout from his decisions in the transfer window, but it will soon change.
As he has gone towards full fitness, there are signs and proof from his career that he is going to be a great player for this team once he finds his feet.
One issue on the pitch that has been different from his days at Newcastle is that players are not necessarily playing through him at the moment.
Whether he adapts to that change or Slot changes things around him, either way, he can only become a success for this club because of the talent on display.
