Declan Rice hobbled off during the latter stages of Arsenal's 1-0 win over Crystal Palace with a right leg injury. Mikel Merino replaced the midfielder with eight minutes of the 90 remaining.
The Gunners were already without William Saliba by that point in the game after he came off at half-time. Cristhian Mosquera took over from the France international in what will be another injury worry for the Premier League leaders after Gabriel Magalhaes came into the match as a doubt.
Mikel Arteta also withdrew Bukayo Saka midway through the second half after the winger seemingly did not train with the team this week. Gabriel Martinelli replaced the England international, but then limped down the tunnel following the full-time whistle.
