Arsenal youngsters Marli Salmon, Kyran Thompson and Josiah King have been named in the England U17 squad for their European Championship qualifiers.
England will take on Scotland tomorrow afternoon before facing Lithuania on Friday and then Sweden next Monday.
As a result, highly-rated defender Salmon won’t be in contention to be included in the Arsenal first-team squad for the Carabao Cup game against Brighton this week.
Right-back King has frequently impressed for Arsenal at U18 level this season and made his debut for the U19s against Atletico Madrid last week.
Schoolboy Thompson, who can play up front or out wide, receives his first England U17 callup having established himself in the Arsenal U18 squad.
