Arsenal defender Marli Salmon made his debut for England U17s today, with the prospect playing the entirety of the 1-0 defeat against Scotland in a European Championship qualifier in Airdrie.
England suffered late frustration as they conceded in stoppage time to a goal from Luke Douglas.
Salmon was booked in the closing stages of the game.
Another Arsenal defender, Josiah King, made his third appearance at this level.
There was also a first callup for schoolboy Kyran Thompson, who was an unused substitute.
England are back in action on Friday when they take on Lithuania before facing Sweden three days later.
