**Arsenal turn their attention to the Carabao Cup as they host Brighton in the fourth round on Wednesday evening.**

Eberechi Eze grabbed the only goal against his former side, volleying in an improvised strike toward the end of the first half.
Brighton suffered defeat in their latest outing, losing 4-2 at Manchester United despite a late fight back. Danny Welbeck and Charalampos Kostoulas reduced a three-goal deficit to one in the final 15 minutes, but Bryan Mbeumo struck deep in stoppage time to seal the win for the Red Devils.
With this being a chance to win silverware for both sides, it'll be interesting to see how they approach this matchup. Arsenal will want to keep every hope of winning a trophy alive while the Seagulls should be looking to go on a strong cup run.

William Saliba is expected to be absent, meaning Cristhian Mosquera will likely come into replace him in the right centre back position. Gabriel Martinelli is also not likely to be available so Leandro Trossard will continue on the left wing.
Declan Rice, Riccardo Calafiori and Bukayo Saka are all set to be okay to be involved against Brighton, but it remains to be seen if they will appear in the clash.
Piero Hincapié could finally be given his full debut for Arsenal while Mikel Merino may replace Viktor Gyökeres to offer the Swede some respite. Ethan Nwaneri is a non-negotiable starter for the Gunners as he is in dire need of minutes this season.
