Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has praised the impact of Viktor Gyokeres after his summer transfer, claiming he is getting better with each passing game.
The striker joined from Sporting CP, viewed as the last piece of the puzzle for Mikel Arteta after a few seasons where the team simply couldn’t break the deadlock in key games.

Bukayo Saka praises Viktor Gyokeres after Arsenal transfer
With 13 appearances and five goals to his name, Gyokeres is still settling in at Arsenal, hopeful of making an impact in their chase for the Premier League title.
While questions still remain over how good he is and can be for the Gunners, the Swedish international clearly has the backing of his teammates.
That much was clear when Bukayo Saka gave a glowing review of the star, when speaking to Sky Sports.
He said: “Viktor’s playing really, really well. I think he settled in well into the group and into the team.
“I think as a team, you know, we of course we’ve never not never, but last season we didn’t play with a striker like him. We played with Kai, who was a different player to him
“So yeah, it’s about us trying to adapt to his game a bit and try and help him to create a few more chances, but at the same time, I feel like he’s getting more and more settled each game and he’s playing well.”
That adaptation could take some time, but it did for Kai Havertz too, with the pair having a similar start to their careers at Arsenal.

How Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz compare in Arsenal starts
Both Gyokeres and Havertz joined Arsenal with a spotlight placed upon them and plenty of questions asked about their quality.
The latter has certainly done well, while the former still has to prove himself, but both stars didn’t exactly hit the ground running.

Kai Havertz 1 1

It took Havertz some time to find his feet at Arsenal, starting off as more of an attacking midfielder, rather than a striker.
Over time, his role has developed, and he has been a key part of the team for the Gunners in their rise to the top.
That may well be the case for Gyokeres, who still has some time to adjust to his new surroundings with his teammates.
