Arsenal have reportedly rewarded goalkeeper David Raya with an improved contract.
According to BBC journalist Sami Mokbel, the 30-year-old Spaniard has agreed a new deal with the club, although the length of the contract — which runs until 2028 — is set to remain unchanged.
It is understood the agreement was reached earlier this summer, with Raya receiving a pay rise following his impressive performances since joining the Gunners permanently in the summer of 2024.
Although his current deal expires in 2028, it is believed that there is an option to extend his stay further.
Leandro Trossard has also signed an improved contract this summer without extending its duration. Neither of these new deals has been officially announced by the club yet.
