Arsenal reportedly had scouts in attendance on Monday to watch Vasco da Gama striker Rayan.
The 19-year-old talent, who continues to attract interest from Europe’s elite clubs, scored in his team’s 2–0 win over Fluminense.
Rayan has enjoyed an impressive 2025 so far, netting 16 goals in 46 appearances. With his contract expiring in 2026, several top clubs are now circling.
Brazilian outlet NTVascainos initially reported before Monday’s game that Arsenal scouts were expected to be in the stands. They intended to closely monitor the youngster.
Now, ***BolaVip***claims that the Arsenal representatives were left highly impressed by Rayan’s performance. It is understood they were so convinced by his display that they reached out to an Arsenal director at around 1 a.m. to report back on the striker’s showing.

Other major European clubs are also in the race for Rayan’s signature. Both Tottenham and Barcelona have sent scouts earlier this month.
