Two Carabao Cup fixtures face potential chaos with significant transport disruptions threatening supporters' trips to Wednesday evening's matches.
Five encounters are set to unfold during the night, featuring a collection of Premier League clubs in the spotlight. Manchester City make the journey to Swansea, whilst Arsenal play host to Premier League counterparts Brighton at the Emirates Stadium.
Liverpool entertain Crystal Palace and Wolves welcome Chelsea to Molineux, with the concluding fixture seeing Newcastle face off against Tottenham Hotspur at St James' Park.
Most of these encounters are anticipated to proceed smoothly, however some are poised to be affected by substantial disruptions across road and railway networks.
Brighton supporters have already been advised to seek alternative routes to North London following an incident where a person was hit by a train between Haywards Heath and Three Bridges stations.

Southern Railway issued a statement explaining: "We're very sorry to advise that a person has been hit by a train between Haywards Heath and Three Bridges. All lines are currently blocked."
The operator continued: "We're working with Network Rail and the emergency services to deal with this incident as sensitively, quickly and safely as possible. We'd like to thank you for bearing with us."
Brighton released their own statement prior to Wednesday's clash, warning: "For anyone heading up to the Emirates tonight, please be aware of current conditions on the trains!"
In addition to the Arsenal-Brighton match, fans heading to Man City's face-off with Championship side Swansea are also likely to be affected due to a 'serious collision' on the A4067 - the main route to the stadium for those coming from the M4.

Swansea's Supporter services issued a travel update: "Travel update | The A4067 is currently closed in both directions following a serious collision. This is expected to remain closed for some time. Supporters are advised to seek alternative routes to the Swansea.com Stadium."

Brentford, Fulham and Cardiff City all secured their places in the fifth round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening. The draw for the next round is set to happen on Wednesday evening once all matches have concluded.
The fifth round of the tournament is slated for the week beginning 15 December, with the two-legged semi-finals pencilled in for January and February next year.
