Andre Harriman-Annous became the latest academy product to make his senior Arsenal debut as he started in the 2-0 Carabao Cup victory at home to Brighton tonight.

The 17-year-old led the line well and demonstrated his impressive link up play.

Shortly before he was substituted in the 77th minute Harriman-Annous saw an effort saved, with Bukayo Saka scoring the rebound.

Ethan Nwaneri had earlier put Arsenal in the lead.

Max Dowman, meanwhile, became the youngest starter in Arsenal’s history at the age of 15 years and 302 days.

Deployed on the right flank again, Dowman had some encouraging moments with his directness prior to being replaced by Saka in the 70th minute.

Alexei Rojas was the third choice goalkeeper, while Louie Copley was the extra man.
