Catley wins Austraffic PFA Footballer of the Year

Steph Catley has won her third Australia PFA Women's Footballer of the Year award after another fine 12 months for both club and country.

Our Australian defender won the honour in 2024 and has now gone back-to-back for the national award.

Steph made 32 appearances for us across all competitions in 2024/25, including starting the UEFA Women's Champions League final as we defeated Barcelona to pick up our second European honour.

For her country, Steph is now sixth on the all-time appearance makers for the Matildas, capped 139 times, one ahead of our winger Caitlin Foord.

She also won the prize back in 2020, not long after first arriving in north London from Melbourne City. The award considers the performances of any professional playing in the A-League and any Australian players plying their trade overseas between June 2024 and June 2025.
