Arsenal defence breaks another record after latest clean sheet

Arsenal are the best defensive unit in world football right now with the Gunners looking impenetrable right now.

Mikel Arteta’s side booked their place in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals with a 2-0 win over Brighton at the Emirates on Wednesday night. Despite rotating their defensive options, with William Saliba, Jurrien Timber and Gabriel all absent, Arsenal secured another clean sheet.

Arsenal have not conceded a goal in any competition since September 28th. Incredibly, it’s the first time in history that an English top-flight team has played six games in a month with a 100% win record and no goals conceded.

The North London side have also now conceded just one goal from open play in 14 games this season.

Top of the Premier League table, impressing in Europe, and with a cup quarter-final on the horizon, Arsenal are well-positioned to make this a memorable campaign.
