Arsenal press conference LIVE: Mikel Arteta on Burnley, Saliba, Martinelli and team news

Mikel Arteta faces the media ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Burnley. A return to Turf Moor is on the cards for the Gunners since their latest relegation a couple of seasons ago.

Arsenal will enter November having won all six of their games in the previous month, having conceded a total of zero goals. A record that makes history and is a first for an English top-flight club.

Arteta is expected to provide updates on both William Saliba and Gabriel Martinelli, who both missed the game due to knocks sustained in the last league match. There remain question marks over some other longer-term absentees, too.

Arsenal progressed into the Carabao Cup quarter-finals with a 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.

Kepa Arrizabalaga kept the scores level in the opening exchanges of the clash, facing perhaps more threat inside 20 minutes than David Raya has in his last three league matches.

Max Dowman was putting on a great show from the right, and looked to win a penalty after the break but did appear to go down too easily and early. It was his Hale End teammate Ethan Nwaneri who scored after being assisted by Myles Lewis-Skelly following a gorgeous Mikel Merino piece of skill.
