
Arsenal youngster Kyran Thompson made his debut for England U17s in a 1-0 defeat to Lithuania today.
Thompson started and played 54 minutes of the game which took place in Scotland, with Lithuania prevailing courtesy of a goal from Tomas Jonyla in the 17th minute.
Arsenal defender Josiah King also started and played 69 minutes, with Marli Salmon coming on as a substitute.
After also being beaten by Scotland in their opening European Championship qualifier, England face a tough task if they are to progress. They play Sweden on Monday in their final fixture.
