Hello and how are you? The 1st of November will see Burnley FC host a visit from the Mighty Cannon. Kick off at Turf Moor is 3.00pm UK time. Expected weather is 10°( feels like 6°) partly cloudy with 40% chance of rain.
Scott Parkers team are currently 16th place: W3 D1 L5 F12 A 17. But they have put both Wolves and Leeds to the sword, and have scored in all of their last six matches. Jordan Beyer (hamstring), Zeki Amdouni (knee) and Connor Roberts (knee) are all ruled out through injury. Quilindschy Hartman and Lesley Ugochukwu are both dangermen to look out for.
Arsenal became the first PL side to play six games in a single month and not let in any goals. Martinelli and Saliba may be doubtful when Saturday comes.
Statto HQ sent over a marathon runner and after collapsing upon delivery the message read: Arsenal have a 74.9% chance of winning and Burnley 8.5%. Well that’s it, next up a trip to Slavia Prague. COYG!
Mills.
Burnley then, wing commander Parkers not so merry men, oh Jeez, another 10 behind the ball from whistle to whistle. Is we get a couple of early goals, it could be a lot of fun, however, if we don’t I expect another bore fest. Fans like me, for my sins, demand open entertaining football, but how the hell can Arteta’s men provide that when every team forms a square to repel the Arsenal column? ( I have watched way to much Sharpe over the years). I don’t think Arteta’s mind set lends itself to expansive play, but the boredom element is definitely brought by the opposition. But who can blame them, if the open up it would become a rout.
I expect the starting eleven to be the same as our last 2 PL games, injuries permitting, with the young guns flooding on as “finishers” if we have a healthy lead.
Enjoy the game, speak again soon.
Pedantic George.
