West Ham are one of the teams lining up to sign Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus when the January transfer window opens, according to reports in Italy.
The Brazilian has not played since the start of 2025 after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament against Manchester United in the FA Cup.
However, Jesus is in the final stages of his rehabilitation and if all goes to plan, he will be back to full fitness by the end of the year.

MilanLive.it claim that the forward knows he will need regular minutes in the second half of the season if he is to stand any chance of making it into Brazil’s squad for the World Cup.
For that to happen, he can’t stay at Arsenal, as he is now behind both Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz in the pecking order.
West Ham will face competition for the player
The Hammers are reportedly one of the teams who are “ready” to make a bid for the 28-year-old. However, Jesus is also attracting interest from plenty of other teams, including Bournemouth, Fulham, Juventus and AC Milan.
A lot could depend on who can provide guarantees about game time, and West Ham are definitely in a position to give him what he requires. Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo is desperately short of options up front. He is not a fan of Callum Wilson and Niclas Fullkrug’s fitness record is woeful.
Arsenal have set their price for Jesus
Milan Live report that due to the forward’s injury history, there is a good chance that the former Manchester City player will be on the market in January for a reasonable price. They suggest he could be snapped up for “less than” €30m (£26m).
When you consider Jesus’s calibre, that would not be a bad fee whatsoever, as long as he can prove his fitness over the coming months.
