Bukayo Saka praises Arsenal’s recent transfer business
Arsenal’s summer transfer business saw them take an approach the club haven’t really seen before.
A huge spend was put towards improving the quality of the overall squad depth, something that is now paying off.
Andrea Berta’s approach has been praised by Bukayo Saka, who discussed the business on BBC’s Football Focus.
He said: “It added so much quality to the team, so you know, here we feel that if one player gets injured, you know, quickly he can be replaced and we can keep the quality high and that’s gonna help us.
“Especially in the back end of the season, when the fixtures are piling up and you know players are starting to fatigue, and just keeping that freshness around the group is so important.”
So far, that has helped Arsenal navigate through a record-breaking October, with plans to continue that fine form.
Berta’s work hasn’t just been surrounding signings, but on signing new contracts as well.
The summer business may well have helped get some of those stars signed up to new deals, with Saka the next on the agenda.

Summer transfer business may help Arsenal sign Bukayo Saka on new contract
One of the main questions persisting over Arsenal after their summer business was whether they could seal new contracts for their most important players.
A recent new deal for William Saliba has added him to a list of Gabriel Magalhaes, Ethan Nwaneri, and Myles Lewis-Skelly to extend their stays at the club.
Bukayo Saka is next in line for a contract, with under two years remaining on his contract, leaving questions over his long-term future.
Part of the challenge is ensuring that the players can trust the project at Arsenal, and their transfers show that the club mean business.
That may help get Saka on a brand new contract, sealing the spine of the team for the future.
