Beth Mead made clear the importance of momentum for **Arsenal**after a 4-1 win over Leicester.
The Champions League holders had gone four without win across September and October, drawing with **Man United**and Aston Villa before losing to **Man City**and OL Lyonnes. A 1-0 triumph over **Brighton**brought back joy to the Emirates Stadium and an emphatic rout has marked the return to action from the international break. The team are now fifth in the table with a tally of 14 points.
Top of the table are Chelsea, who have dropped only two points this campaign as they seek to win the **Women’s Super League**for the seventh year in a row. **Arsenal**would have had ambitions of trying to take the top spot away from the Blues this season, so next weekend’s encounter will be critical.
"Yeah, it was a fun game to play in. I thought we played some very, very good football. It's not always easy coming back from international break and looking so connected as we did today. So it was nice to get three points and put a good performance in.
"I can't complain, I'm enjoying it, I feel like I'm in a good space. Hopefully I can do good things for the team and continue to do that, but I feel good.
"It's what we needed (momentum), I think we've been chasing it for a long time at the start of the season so to be able to get that reward and get the performance in, it's very nice right now.
*"We're very excited [to play against **Chelsea*], I mean they're the games you want to play in, playing against one of the best in the league who've been doing it for a number of years now, so looking forward to the challenge and hopefully we can get the win next week."
