It has led to a fantastic start to the season from Arsenal, they sit on top of the Premier League table after nine matches, and remain the stand out favourites to win the league. Furthermore, they are up there in terms of favourites for the Champions League too.
Looking ahead to January, we decided to ask Grok AI to predict all the incomings and outgoings for Arsenal in the transfer window, and this is what it suggested would happen…
Arsenal generate £70m from player sales
Gabriel Jesus to Palmeiras – £25m
Oleksandr Zinchenko to Nottingham Forest (Permanent) – £15m
Reiss Nelson to Brentford (Permanent) – £10m
Leandro Trossard to Atalanta – £20m
Firstly, AI predicted that two on-loan Arsenal players will make their moves permanent in the January transfer window. Zinchenko’s loan move at Forest will become a permanent transfer for a fee of £15m, and then it predicted that Nelson’s loan at Brentford would also become permanent for £10m.
Next up, AI also predicted that striker Gabriel Jesus would return to former club Palmeiras for a fee of £25m. He is currently injured, and expected to make a return just before the January window.
Finally, Leandro Trossard has also been linked with a move away, and AI predicted that the 30-year-old would join Serie A side Atalanta for a fee of £20m. It means that in total, Arsenal generate £70m from player sales.
Semenyo makes blockbuster move to the Emirates
Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth to Arsenal – £65m
If the Gunners are to generate £70m in player sales, they could decide to spend big by using those funds, and AI suggested that they could make a stunning move for Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo.
The winger has been excellent so far this season, and has been linked with a move to both Manchester United and Liverpool. The most recent reports have said that Semenyo has a release clause of at least £65m, so Arsenal could use their player profits to invest in a new long-term left winger.
