Arsenal and other PL clubs in transfer race for German defender

As per reports, Arsenal have been monitoring the player for some time now. Also, other PL teams have shown interest in the player as well. The German defender has a favorable relationship with his present club in Bundesliga. His deal runs through 2030, but nevertheless, the top Premier League teams remain very interested in the player. If this is still a sign, we should expect the value to surpass their €22m asking price.

In addition to that, the North London side are still in search of a good defender and a vibrant young player. Brown appears to be the modern full-back who has shown the mix of technical skill and physical fitness. But then again, with a lot of clubs interested, any transfer is going to be a tough battle.

Author’s opinion:

Brown seems to be the perfect sort of player for Arsenal to go after. He’s very young, he has great ambition and is also improving very quickly. However, getting him won’t be easy due to his lengthy contract and increasing number of fans. If Arsenal really mean it, they should do it quickly, before another team takes the initiative.
