After his outburst during Real Madrid’s El Clasico win over Barcelona, several reporters and analysts are stirring up the old Vinicius Junior transfer rumors, speculating that the Brazilian icon will want to leave the Spanish capital and spread his wings away from butting heads with new coach Xabi Alonso.
While cooler heads have prevailed and most logical folks feel that Vinicius Jr. will stay in Madrid for life, there are still some respected pundits who think that Vini’s future in Madrid is far from certain.
One of those is former [Arsenal](https://goonernews.com/) manager Arsene Wenger, who remarked on beIN Sports, “I’m not completely convinced that the future of Vinícius will be at Real Madrid.”
Given Arsenal could use a world-class left winger to fill out their front line and become the biggest team in the Champions League, they’d surely be all over Vini Jr. if Real Madrid were to ever be forced to making him available, he would be a dream signing for the Gunners.
Arsenal fans will have to see how Vinicius’s season develops at Madrid. He’s been amazing, as usual, on the pitch under Alonso, but with Rodrygo Goes also wanting out and on the Arsenal transfer radar, something tells me that the Gunners may have a big fish to catch in 2026.
