Schoolboy forward Kyran Thompson has been named in the starting lineup for Arsenal U21s away to Southampton tonight.
The talented youngster recently made his debut for England U17s and has been a key player for Arsenal U18s this season.
Thompson is now set to make his competitive debut for Arsenal U21s having featured at that level in pre-season.
Right-back Josiah King also gets his first competitive U21s callup as he’s named on the bench.
Arsenal are without Max Dowman, Andre Harriman-Annous and Tommy Setford, who all trained with the first-team. Ceadach O’Neill is also unavailable.
Former Arsenal defender Zach Awe is on the bench for Southampton.
