Arsenal received a sucker punch by conceding a stoppage-time equaliser against Sunderland on Saturday evening.
The Gunners had done well to get themselves into the lead against a tough opponent. Dan Ballard had put the hosts ahead ten minutes before halftime, but Mikel Arteta‘s men rallied after the interval.
They were the much better team in the second 45 minutes, and they turned the game on its head with goals from Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard. However, Brian Brobbey got the Black Cats back on level terms four minutes into injury time
