The International Federation of Football History & Statistics have confirmed their nominees for their 2025 World’s Best Club Coach award, with Mikel Arteta featuring on the shortlist.
The award is handed out on an annual basis, rather than a season basis, so Arsenal’s exploits over the next couple of months should continue to count towards the eventual result.
That result will be determined by members of the IFFHS, including sport journalists and football experts from around the world. They will then be announced after January 15th, 2026.

Though there are a number of categories judged at the awards, only the World’s Best Club Coach nominees have been confirmed at this stage.
We’ll have to wait and see whether Arsenal receive any nominations or awards for World’s Best Goal Scorers, Club World Ranking, World’s Best Goalkeeper, World’s Best Youth Player, World’s Best Player, and World’s Best Playmaker.
There are also categories for World’s Best League, World’s Best Referee, and World’s Best National Coach, but Arsenal obviously have no way of winning any of those categories.
