11 Arsenal players have been called up for international duty in November, and they will return for the Gunners next game against Tottenham on 23 November.
The Gunners went into the international break dropping points for the first time since late September in the Premier League when they drew to Man City. Mikel Arteta’s side drew 2-2 to Sunderland after conceding a late equaliser from Brian Brobbey.

It leaves them top of the league table, clear of Manchester City by four points after Pep Guardiola’s side recorded an impressive 3-0 win against last year’s champions Liverpool. Arsenal will now look ahead to after the international break, with 11 of their players leaving for their national teams.

England: Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and Eberechi Eze
Firstly, Thomas Tuchel, as ever, went very Arsenal heavy with his selection, as three of his key players are all Gunners. Saka returns to the squad after making an impressive appearance in October, alongside England vice-captain Declan Rice and Eze.
They will firstly play against Serbia, and then Albania in their final round of World Cup qualifiers, the Three Lions have already qualified however.

Spain: Mikel Merino, David Raya and Martin Zubimendi
Next up is the Spanish trio of Merino, Raya and Zubimendi, three key players for the current European champions. Merino scored a hat-trick for Spain during the last international break, and will hope for more of the same this week.

France: William Saliba
Saliba will once again join up with the French national team, playing as big a role as ever in Les Bleus’ defence. He will face games against Ukraine and Azerbaijan to close out the World Cup qualifiers for the French side.

Brazil: Gabriel
Gabriel will join up with the Brazil squad for the November break, however, he will be without Arsenal teammate Gabriel Martinelli, who is current injured until the Spurs game after the break. Brazil will be playing two friendly matches in London, so the defender won’t have to leave home.

Netherlands: Jurrien Timber
Timber has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season, so it is no shock to see him called up for the Dutch team again. He will face World Cup qualifiers against Poland and Lithuania.

Belgium: Leandro Trossard
Trossard left the Arsenal squad on a high over the weekend, as he scored the Gunners’ second goal against Sunderland, to take his tally in the Premier League this season up to two goals and two assists. He will play against Kazakhstan and Liechtenstein.

Italy: Riccardo Calafiori
Finally, Calafiori will join the Italian national side for their remaining qualifiers. He has been starting for Arsenal this season, and also starts regularly at left-back for Italy. He will play against Moldova and Norway. Although he won’t get to face Martin Odegaard, as he remains out with a knee issue.
