The draw for the third round of the FA Youth Cup has been made, with Arsenal U18s to play Barnsley or Mansfield Town away in a game that has to be played by December 13th.
Last season Arsenal reached the quarter-finals of the prestigious competition, where they were beaten by Manchester United at Emirates Stadium.
For this season players must have been born on or after September 1st 2007 to take part.
For games against non league clubs players have to be born between September 1st 2007 and before September 1st 2010.
Arsenal have won the FA Youth Cup seven times, with their most recent success coming in 2009.
Here’s a look at which players could feature for Adam Birchall’s team in the Youth Cup this season.
**Goalkeeper**
**Jack Porter** is currently with England at the U17 World Cup but should be back in time to feature in the FA Youth Cup, with **Khari Ranson** also in contention for a starting berth.
**Jack Talbot** and **Remi Lupinski** are also available.
**Defence**
Arsenal have struggled defensively at U18 level in the league this season but they have several options in the Youth Cup, including centre-back **Marli Salmon**.
One potential option could be to deploy **Josiah King** at right-back, with **Callan Hamill** alongside Salmon in central defence and **Josh Ogunnaike** at left-back.
**Abraham Owusu-Gyasi** can play at right-back or centre-back, with **Samuel Onyekachukwu** available in the latter position. **Josh Tahou** is the second choice left-back. **Sam Chapman** is another option at centre-back.
**Midfield**
**Ife Ibrahim** is now established in Arsenal’s U21 team but the defensive midfielder could still feature for the U18s in the Youth Cup.
**Max Dowman**’s potential involvement will depend on whether he is required at higher levels, with **Theo Julienne** also in contention to start in midfield.
**Teshaun Murisa** is a useful defensive-minded midfield option, while **Maalik Hashi** is also pushing for a start. **Bowen Phillips** will provide further depth and **Saurap Sampang** has yet to play for the U18s this season.
**Attack**
**Andre Harriman-Annous** could potentially make his first U18s appearance of the season depending on when the Youth Cup games are scheduled.
**Ceadach O’Neill** and **Brando Bailey-Joseph** could provide support out wide, with schoolboy **Kyran Thompson** capable of playing centrally or as a winger. **Louis Zecevic John** is very talented but has struggled with injuries again this season. **Alex Marciniak** can play wide on the left or in midfield.
Another forward, **Marley Frohock**, recently scored his first goal for the U18s.
