Arsenal stars Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze featured for England on Thursday night at Wembley, when Thomas Tuchel’s side won 2-0 against Serbia in their penultimate World Cup qualifying match. Both Arsenal players scored for the Three Lions during the game.

They play again on Sunday against Albania, but there are doubts over whether Saka will be able to play, after he was seen gesturing to the bench, following his goal against Serbia on Thursday night.

Saka answers potential injury questions

After the Arsenal star scored in the 28th minute, he was seen to look uncomfortable, and was seen gesturing to the bench, as if he wanted to come off, or he was injured.

However, Saka was asked about the incident after the game, as he carried on, and ended up playing for the full 90 minutes at Wembley. After the game, he told ITV Sport: “No, I just wanted to change my boots. That was it.”

It means there are no worries for Arsenal heading into their next game, which happens to be the North London derby against Tottenham after the players come back from the break. Furthermore, there is a chance that Arsenal could see the likes of Havertz, Madueke, Viktor Gyokeres, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard potentially return to full fitness, which will be a huge boost for Mikel Arteta.
