The Premier League returns on Saturday with leaders Arsenal hosting North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the pick of the weekend’s games.
Mikel Arteta’s side currently boast a four point lead at the top of the standings, and the Spaniard will hope to see them at least maintain their advantage at the top by beating their fiercest rivals.
Ahead of the game, it has emerged that Arsenal are set to battle it out with a Premier League rival for the signing of an Eredivisie star.
According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal are keeping tabs on Feyenoord midfielder Quinten Timber, the brother of current squad member Jurrien.
It is claimed that the North London side are one of several English sides chasing the Dutchman, with West Ham United and Manchester United also interested in the player.
Timber, 24, is under contract in Rotterdam until the end of the current campaign and looks set to leave Feyenoord next year.

German giants Borussia Dortmund are said to be leading the race to land the midfielder, and it is claimed that the Bundesliga outfit could step up their interest and attempt to sign Timber in January.
It remains to be seen whether or not Feyenoord will cash in on the player when the transfer window reopens in the new year, as opposed to letting him leave as a free agent next summer.
Arsenal are said to have been monitoring Timber – the twin brother of Jurrien – for some time now.
Timber joined Feyenoord from fellow Dutch side Utrecht back in 2022 and has since made 115 appearances for the club across all competitions.
So far this season he has featured 14 times, scoring twice and registering one assist for Robin van Persie’s side.
