ARSENAL midfielder Ethan Nwaneri surprised pupils at his old primary school by turning up to run a coaching session.
The 18-year-old, who is part of the Gunners’ title-chasing first team squad, was back at St John’s Upper Holloway for a trip down memory lane.
He was armed with free tickets to an upcoming game at the Emirates Stadium as part of Arsenal’s community initiative to help more youngsters from the local area see the team play.
Mr Nwaneri said he had a “lot of special memories” at the school, adding that games in the playground helped “build my love for the game”.
Arsenal’s Premier League Primary Stars scheme has run more than 6,000 sessions since 2017.
