Near-perfect England, Doncaster Rovers' malaise and Sheffield Wednesday square up to Sheffield United - The YP FootballTalk Podcast
Sheffield Wednesday loan star Harry Amass is reportedly being considered for a promotion at Manchester United.
The 18-year-old was not involved in Manchester United’s pre-season plans as he awaited a temporary move away from Old Trafford.
He eventually linked up with Wednesday after the Red Devils covered the finances required to make it happen.
His loan deal expires midway through the campaign, although it has been suggested he could see his South Yorkshire stay extended.

Harry Amass ‘under consideration’
According to The Sun, Manchester United are considering promoting Amass to their senior set-up next season.
The Premier League giants lack depth on the left-hand side and Amass has looked comfortable in senior football.
Since joining the Red Devils from Watford in 2023, Amass has made seven senior appearances for the club.
Harry Amass’ future
The Star, meanwhile, have claimed talks between Wednesday and Manchester United regarding the defender’s immediate future are ongoing.
It is believed the loan agreement will need to be ‘rejigged’ in order for Amass to remain in S6, but a stay very much appears to be on the cards.
If the England youth international does establish himself in the Premier League when he leaves South Yorkshire, very few Wednesday fans would begrudge him the opportunity.

The first loan spell of his career has been in conditions far from ideal, with Wednesday wrapped up in off-field turbulence, but he has been a standout performer.
Not only could Wednesday retain Amass for the duration of the current campaign, they could potentially sign one or two of his Manchester United teammates.
