BETHEL, Alaska (KTUU) - A Bethel jury found 38-year-old Jonathan David guilty of sexual assault, among other charges, Wednesday following a week-long trial, according to the Department of Law.
David was found guilty of two counts of first-degree sexual assault, three counts of second-degree sexual assault, two counts of incest and one count of resisting or interfering with arrest, the Department of Law says. He faces up to 99 years for each of the sexual assault and incest charges and one year for the resisting arrest charge.
The convictions stem from multiple incidents in 2021 where David engaged in non-consensual sexual acts with a family member. He was previously convicted of attempted sexual abuse of a minor with the same victim.
David is in custody with no bail pending sentencing. Sentencing is scheduled for March 20, according to the Department of Law.
