Manchester United have a golden opportunity to surge up the Premier League table, with no traditional big-six clashes in their next 10 games. The Red Devils are starting to find their feet after a shaky start to the season that saw Amorim's position come under scrutiny.

United are currently enjoying a five-match unbeaten streak and sit seventh in the table after 11 matches. Amorim's men have notched up victories against an in-form Sunderland, reigning champions Liverpool, and a tricky Brighton side who've given them a run for their money in recent seasons.

The last two outings for Amorim's squad ended in draws with Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur. United are back in action on Monday night, hosting Everton at 8pm, followed by a journey to Crystal Palace six days later.

Below is a closer look at their upcoming 10 league fixtures - as they won't face a big-six team until a mid-January clash with neighbours Manchester City;

The Red Devils and Amorim will be breathing a sigh of relief as they face a seemingly easier fixture list. However, the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, kicking-off in late December, will see key players Bryan Mbeumo, Amad and Noussair Mazraoui jetting off to Morocco for the tournament, which concludes on January 18.

Amorim has already shared his thoughts on the challenges United will encounter across the coming months. He's viewing it as a chance for other squad members to prove their worth.

During a recent interview, the club's head coach said: "When I watch the training, there are players that should be playing, but it's hard with one game to take some players from the team - because they are doing well also during the training, in games. So other players are going to have the opportunity to help us."
