Manchester United have a serious interest in Christos Mouzakitis
Ahead of 2026, United have already agreed to sign Cristian Orozco, with the 17-year-old the next big thing for Colombia.

This has been reported now by the Greek outlet Sportal, who suggest United’s interest in the Olympiacos wonderkid is very real.
United have an ‘excellent opinion’ of Mouzakitis, the report claims, with scouts being sent to Greece to watch him in action on several occasions.
Mouzakitis has been on United’s radar since last season, and Ineos recruitment chiefs are seriously considering a 2026 move for the Andres Iniesta-like talent, Mouzakitis.
Christos Mouzakitis would be a very exciting midfield signing for Manchester United
United have interest in signing wonderkid Kees Smit in 2026 from AZ Alkmaar. Meanwhile, Ajax’s Jorthy Mokio has also made it on to United’s shortlist.
The above are two of the biggest midfield wonderkids in Europe right now and now United are also chasing Mouzakitis, it is clear Ineos want a midfielder of the future.
While United are expected to spend big on a player like Elliot Anderson, there also looks likely to be a wonderkid added to potentially bring depth immediately and long term form a partnership.
Mouzakitis is exactly this, and his addition would be very exciting from United. It would prove the long term project is still in the works and he’d bring some amazing qualities to the United midfield.
Hopefully, Mouzakitis joins the club in 2026.
