Marcus Rashford has finally moved out of a lavish Barcelona hotel and into a new neighbourhood that Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique also lived in.

The Barcelona star first resided in the Hotel Torre Melina upon his temporary move to Spain this past summer from Manchester United. Just a mile away from the Camp Nou, where the Spanish giants will return to play this weekend, its central location in Catalonia has been ideal for the England forward.

However, after four months, the 28-year-old has swapped the luxurious 391-room hotel for an apartment in Esplugues, a municipality in Barcelona. His new abode is situated on the edge of the Collserola mountains.

Having had Barcelona greats such as Iniesta and Pique reside in the neighbourhood, Esplugues can now be called home by Rashford, at least until next summer when his season-long-loan expires.

The Manchester-born attacker has seemed to adapt well to his new environment, as he's undertaken activities such as padel and fishing. During his stay at the hotel, Rashford was able to enjoy the grand facilities such as a spa sanctuary as well as fully-equipped fitness centre within its grounds.

The hotel also provided the opportunity for privacy which Rashford would certainly appreciate given his global status, thanks to their private helipad for air travel. In his new community, he very well could be joined by Barcelona team-mate Lamine Yamal.

Spanish reports claim that the teenager had been attempting to buy the mansion previously owned by Pique and his ex-wife Shakira. Allegedly earning £325,000 a week following the signing of his new long-term contract this past summer, Yamal was reportedly weighing the acquisition of the property worth £9.5million.

The mansion was initially listed at £12m when put up for sale three years, but the price has since been reduced. Spanning 3,800 square feet, there are three separate houses on the land with the main residence featuring a tennis court, as well as an indoor and outdoor swimming pool.

Just several months into his Barcelona career and Rashford has enjoyed a career revival in Spain. Ranking so far as the fifth-most prolific player in terms of goal involvements in Europe this season, the 28-year-old has already racked up six goals and nine assists in just 16 games.

Not only has no player in Europe’s five major leagues registered more than Rashford’s nine assists this campaign, but no La Liga player has recorded more than the Englishman's four goals and two assists in the Champions League.
