“After the last Champions League match, I could see the girls were full of enthusiasm and they could see what we are capable of. We showed flashes of brilliance, playing on a par with OL Lyonnes, so you can imagine how that made us feel. Clearly, looking back at the performance, we need to be good at maintaining this level throughout the match, even when playing against a team as good as that.”
“Fiorentina are favourites at the moment, which is the biggest challenge. We'll be playing against a team that has more points than us, has scored more than twice as many goals as us and, in general, has had a better run than us in the league. We'll definitely be facing a team that wants to maintain or increase the gap in the table, so we'll have to try to reduce the current gap between us and them.”
