Bastian Schweinsteiger has been impressed by a rising Bundesliga midfielder amid links to Manchester United.

Another player on United’s radar is VfB Stuttgart and Germany midfielder Angelo Stiller.
The Germany international is one of a few non-Premier League players linked with a move to Old Trafford in 2026.

Stiller has a £35 million release clause that could tempt United, especially after he was compared to Declan Rice, who has a far superior market value at Arsenal.
It is understood that Stiller is still on United’s radar, but former Germany star Bastian Schweinsteiger wants to see him sign for Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Schweinsteiger was asked to pick between Fabian Ruiz and Stiller during a video uploaded to TikTok.
“Fabián Ruiz,” Schweinsteiger said.
“Angelo is a very interesting player. I would like to see him at Bayern Munich. But right now, I would say Fabián Ruiz.”
Stiller is younger than Ruiz, which may suggest why Schweinsteiger believes Bayern Munich should be tracking the midfield ace.
