Well, it’s Monday. And it’s a Monday after there were some rather interesting results in Serie A. (Of course, as we are all well aware of, [Juventus was not part of that group](/previews-reviews/34061/fiorentina-juventus-2025-serie-a-matchday-12-final-score-result-match-recap-analysis).)
It was busy weekend in Italy — as one might have expected knowing full well what was on the schedule. There’s a new league leader, one that even those who root for the club probably didn’t expect to be at the top of the table a month or two ago considering a brand new manager just took charge over the summer. There’s the defending champions a couple of points off the pace after giving Atalanta’s new manager a rude awakening in his debut.
Oh, and there’s now a new club at the bottom of the standings, too. (You’re welcome.)
So yeah, it was an eventful weekend.
