Manchester United are expected to name academy duo Shea Lacey and Jack Fletcher in their first-team squad to face Everton in the Premier League on Monday night. Ruben Amorim’s side are unbeaten across their last five matches, but have drawn their previous two encounters against both Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur.
United will look to maintain the positive momentum and could even move into the top four if they defeat Everton by a large enough margin. There is a real chance for them to make up some ground with a relatively easy run of fixtures ahead of the festive period.
Harry Maguire and Benjamin Sesko have both been ruled out of the match, while Kobbie Mainoo is a doubt after he missed training on Friday morning. Matheus Cunha suffered a minor issue that forced him to withdraw from a guest appearance at the Altrincham Christmas lights switch-on event.
Here is how we think United should line up tonight.
