This weekend, Baleba had a nightmare performance against Brentford and was taken off at half-time.
In his 45-minute display, he lost possession eight times and conceded a penalty.
It is certainly not the first time Hurzeler has taken Baleba off following a poor display. In fact, Statman Dave has revealed that Baleba averages just 61 minutes of action when starting in the Premier League – the fewest of any player to have started 10 matches this season.

Last season, the Brighton star scored four goals and assisted twice, so he is currently struggling to match his record from 2024/25.
As per FBref, Baleba is currently ranking in the bottom 10% of midfielders for touches, expected assists and progressive passes.
