Manchester United are without forward Matheus Cunha for this evening's clash with after a 'training ground accident'.
The Red Devils take on ' side at Old Trafford on Monday evening, but Cunha is sidelined for the game. Worries were first raised about the Brazilian's fitness after he pulled out of a Christmas light switch-on event in Altrincham.
A statement from organisers read: "Unfortunately, has had an accident in training today and will not be able to attend tonight's Lights Switch on in Altrincham due to medical reasons."
And it appears that the issue has been severe enough to sideline the £62.5m forward. Cunha has scored once since his summer move from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Despite that, his absence has left boss Ruben Amorim with a significant headache when it comes to his attack, with Benjamin Sesko sidelined until at least December with a knee injury.
In Cunha's place, Joshua Zirkzee has been handed a shock reprieve. The Dutchman has made just four appearances for the Red Devils in the this season.
He will be supported in attack by Amad and summer signing Bryan Mbeumo. The United team otherwise has a familiar look to it, with Casemiro partnering captain in the heart of midfield.
Patrick Dorgu and Noussair Mazraoui are stationed at wing-back, while Matthijs de Ligt, and Leny Yoro play centrally. Senne Lammens has once again been selected in goal.
Elsewhere, was also omitted from the squad to take on Everton after missing training on Friday. But there was positive news when it came to , who was handed a place on the bench.
He was joined by Altay Bayindir, Diogo Dalot, Ayden Heaven, Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, and Manuel Ugarte. Academy graduate Shea Lacey was also named among the substitutes.
