United featured in a rare Monday Night Football clash against David Moyes, with the Red Devils losing 1-0 at Old Trafford.
It was a game that started in major controversy, with Idrissa Gueye sent off for a baffling slap on his own teammate, Michael Keane.

Everton then took the lead with 10 men through Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, which proved the only goal of the game.
With this, here are the Manchester United player ratings for the evening.
Man Utd player ratings vs Everton
Senne Lammens – 5.5
Got a hand to Dewsbury-Hall’s strike, so will be kicking himself slightly. It was a difficult one at close range to save.
Matthijs de Ligt – 5
Did his job, but wasn’t really involved much. Can’t really say much else.

Leny Yoro – 5
Was at fault for Everton’s goal. Could have potentially ventured forward against Everton’s 10 men a little more.
Luke Shaw – 4
Gary Neville tore into him on multiple occasions, and for good reason. Didn’t offer enough going forward and equally so defensively. Felt like a waste of a player on the pitch at times.
Noussair Mazraoui – 5
Looked far too defensive with the Moroccan on, hence why he was brought off for Mason Mount at half-time.
Patrick Dorgu – 4
Not the finest showing from Patrick Dorgu. Didn’t offer too much down the left-hand side. Missed a good chance in the first half. Needs to be more direct.

Casemiro – 5
Casemiro has been great this season, but Everton wasn’t a game to write home about. Failed to track Dewsbury-Hall on multiple occasions, who was sensational at Old Trafford.
Bruno Fernandes – 5
Bruno Fernandes is capable of more, and knows he should have taken at least one of his chances on the night.
Who was the most DISAPPOINTING Man Utd player vs Everton?
Amad – 7
Manchester United’s bright spark throughout, and was constantly trying to breach the Everton defensive line. Put in some seriously decent crosses, with no one on the end. He’s going to be a big miss when he heads to AFCON.
Bryan Mbeumo – 5.5
The Toffees did a great job at nullifying the Cameroonian. They arguably dealt with Mbeumo better than any Premier League side this season.
Joshua Zirkzee – 3
Joshua Zirkzee showed why he hasn’t been trusted with minutes this season. Miles off it, offered zero attacking threat aside from a few headers saved by Jordan Pickford. Really poor.

Substitutes
Mason Mount – 4.5
Had a few good efforts. Same old story with Mason Mount, lots of good touches, but no end product.
Kobbie Mainoo – 4.5
Didn’t look like Kobbie Mainoo whatsoever. Needs more game time desperately.
Diogo Dalot – 4.5
There was really nothing coming down the left with Diogo Dalot and Shaw on that side.
