Manchester United star Amad was part of the terrible defeat to Everton on Monday night, but he is among the few who deserve some praise.
Old Trafford will be eager to forget the performance which saw Manchester United lose 1-0 to a 10-man Everton side.
There is no way to spin the result other than it was horrendous, and Ruben Amorim will be acutely aware that Sunday against Crystal Palace has just become must-win.
Who was the most DISAPPOINTING Man Utd player vs Everton?
In the defeat, United had some really disappointing performances, with only Amad, Leny Yoro and possibly Bryan Mbeumo taking any kind of positive from the game.
Amad, in particular, doesn’t deserve criticism.

Amad was a shining light for Manchester United vs Everton
Starting as one of the two number 10s, as Matheus Cunha missed out due to injury, before being moved to his more usual wing-back position.
In either case, Amad was better than the alternatives, and his statistics from the game prove this completely.

Amad completed the most take-ons in the game with four, while he also created more chances than anybody else on the pitch, also four.
Amad was the most dangerous player on the pitch from a United point of view, and this is a reminder of the massive miss he is going to be when he departs for AFCON in the next few weeks.
While not among the biggest names in the attack, the importance of Amad cannot be understated.
When Amad heads to AFCON, the drop off at left wing-back in particular is worrying.
Ruben Amorim must avoid opting for the obvious Amad replacement next month
When Amad leaves for AFCON, the obvious solution would be for Diogo Dalot to start; however, Amorim must refuse this and instead take a risk.
Dalot and Patrick Dorgu on opposing flanks is a bad idea as they have a terrible record together, for the reason that neither offers the attacking quality United needs on the flanks.
So Amad’s absence must see United instead move Bendito Mantato or James Overy into the first-team as both are more adept in attacking areas of the pitch compared with Dalot.
This could be a defining moment for Amorim, as fans are beginning to grow tired of his ‘risk-averse’ mentality, but he could right the wrong by going all in on the youth over the AFCON period.
At the moment, Amorim is sealing his own fate.
