Manchester City are serious contenders in the race to sign Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo, according to reports.
TalkSPORT claim that manager Pep Guardiola is a “big admirer” of the 25-year-old, and he is looking for another forward who can add goals to City’s attack.
Most supporters on X would back an approach for Semenyo if the Cityzens decide to make an offer for the player during the January transfer window:

He’d be a great signing if we can make it happen but we should also be weary of Vini too

Man City already know how much it will cost to sign him
It has recently been revealed that Semenyo has a release clause in his contract that can be triggered in the first half of January.
Any interested team would need to pay an initial £60m for the Ghanaian international, with an additional £5m due in performance-related add-ons.
Semenyo has many other suitors
The existence of the buyout fee has attracted plenty of interest. Premier League champions Liverpool are believed to be among the frontrunners, with sporting director Richard Hughes having previously signed him for Bournemouth three years ago.
Manchester United and Tottenham also pursued Semenyo last summer prior to the player’s decision to sign a contract extension, but it is not known whether either team will make an offer in January, with both clubs having subsequently signed other forwards.
